Chairman, CEO and President
Mr. Ananthanpillai is the chairman, CEO and president of InfoZen and has been with the company since January 2004. Previously, he served as the chief strategy officer of ePlus, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUS), a business process automation and financial services company, where he was responsible for technology, marketing, analyst relations and business strategy. Prior, he was the president and CEO of NetBalance, a venture capital-backed multimillion-dollar software company that was successfully sold in 2000.
Before founding NetBalance, Mr. Ananthanpillai was the vice president and general manager at I-NET, Inc., a $250 million company, growing a multimillion- dollar IT outsourcing and managed services business serving Fortune 100 and public-sector customers. Prior, Mr. Ananthanpillai spent several years at AT&T and was responsible for directing and managing the company's global messaging system managed services.
Mr. Ananthanpillai holds an M.S. in engineering physics, an M.S. in electrical engineering, and Executive Education in International Business Management and Financial Planning. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), has a U.S. patent on “Intelligent Systems Management”, and is the author of two books on systems management and managed services. Additionally, Mr. Ananthanpillai is a frequent speaker at executive forums and universities and is widely profiled in industry trade and business publications. Mr. Ananthanpillai mentors several emerging companies and occasionally teaches competitive strategy at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s MBA program. He is a member of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Advisory Board at the University of Kansas.
The Honorable Michael Chertoff
Former Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security | Co-founder and Managing Principal, Chertoff Group
At Chertoff Group, Mr. Chertoff provides high-level strategic counsel to corporate and government leaders on a broad range of security issues, from risk identification and prevention to preparedness, response and recovery.
As Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2005 to 2009, Mr. Chertoff led the nation in preventing would-be terrorists from entering the U.S. or implementing their plans if already stateside. He also transformed FEMA into an effective organization following Hurricane Katrina. His greatest successes have earned few headlines – because the important news is what didn’t happen.
Before heading DHS, Mr. Chertoff served as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Earlier, during more than a decade as a federal prosecutor, he investigated and prosecuted cases of political corruption, organized crime, corporate fraud and terrorism, including the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Mr. Chertoff is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. From 1979 to1980, he served as a clerk to Supreme Court Justice William Brennan, Jr. In addition to his role at Chertoff Group, Mr. Chertoff is also Senior Of Counsel at Covington & Burling LLP, and a member of the firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations practice group.
The Honorable Thomas M. Davis
Retired Congressman, U.S. House of Representatives | Director of Federal Government Affairs for Deloitte LLP
Congressman Davis is the director of Federal Government Affairs for Deloitte, LLP, where he continues his efforts to deliver effective solutions to government.
For 14 years, Mr. Davis served as a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives representing Virginia's 11th congressional district in Northern Virginia. Previously, he was a member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors from 1980 to 1994 (serving as chairman of the Board of Supervisors from 1991 until his election to the House). During his service as board chairman, Fairfax County was ranked first financially by City and State magazine in its list of Top 50 Counties. Despite an economic downturn and an upside-down county budget, Mr. Davis successfully implemented several reforms that resulted in Fairfax being named the best-managed county in the country by Governing magazine.
Norman A. Willox, Jr.
Chairman and CEO, Bluewater International, LLC
Mr. Willox is CEO of Bluewater International, LLC. Bluewater offers high-level investment and consulting services exclusively to select companies, primarily in the energy, healthcare, government, law enforcement and homeland security sectors.
Previously, Mr. Willox served as CEO for LexisNexis Government services , where he was instrumental in using sophisticated super computers and advanced policy-driven information delivery systems to protect citizens, industry and government officials. For decades, he has been recognized as a global leader in information risk management, helping shape domestic and international information sharing policy.
Mr. Willox sits on multiple boards, including Austin Logistics, InfoZen, and Coalfire. He is a member of the Business Services Advisory Board at Baird Venture Partners, and is the chairman of the Center for Identity at the University of Texas, Dallas. Mr. Willox is a frequent speaker on fraud, identification, authentication and privacy issues.
