Chairman, CEO and President
Mr. Ananthanpillai is the chairman, CEO and president of InfoZen and has been with the company since January 2004. Previously, he served as the chief strategy officer of ePlus, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUS), a business process automation and financial services company, where he was responsible for technology, marketing, analyst relations and business strategy. Prior to ePlus, he was the president and CEO of NetBalance, a venture capital-backed multimillion-dollar software company that was successfully sold in 2000.
Before founding NetBalance, Mr. Ananthanpillai was the vice president and general manager at I-NET, Inc., a $250+ million company, offering IT outsourcing and managed services to Fortune 100 and public-sector customers. Prior to I-NET, Mr. Ananthanpillai spent several years at AT&T and was responsible for directing and managing the company's global messaging system managed services.
Mr. Ananthanpillai holds an M.S. in engineering physics, an M.S. in electrical engineering, and Executive Education in International Business Management and Financial Planning. He is also a certified financial planner (CFP®), has a U.S. patent on “Intelligent Systems Management,” and is the author of two books on systems management and managed services. Additionally, Mr. Ananthanpillai is a frequent speaker at executive forums and universities and is widely profiled in industry trade and business publications. Mr. Ananthanpillai mentors several emerging companies and occasionally teaches competitive strategy at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s MBA program. He is a member of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Advisory Board at the University of Kansas.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kollme has nearly 15 years of experience as a CFO, principally in the government contracting sector. Before joining InfoZen, Mr. Kollme was the CFO of XLA, a private equity-backed contractor that focused on DHS, U.S. State Department, and USAID markets, as well as other civilian agencies.
Previously, Mr. Kollme served as the first CFO for Acentia (acquired by Maximus), where he oversaw all financial and contract functions of the company. During his tenure, the company grew 700 percent through organic growth and multiple acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he held several positions in investment and commercial banking with institutions that are now part of Wells Fargo. Mr. Kollme is a graduate of Wake Forest University and has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Mr. Miranda is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of InfoZen’s operational policies, objectives and initiatives. Mr. Miranda is also responsible for the attainment of short and long-term financial and operational goals. He directs the development of the company to ensure future growth, while managing its delivery of services and development of solutions to help a diverse set of customers meet their dynamic challenges.
Prior to joining InfoZen in 2007, Mr. Miranda spent 30 years at Unisys, Identix, UNITECH and other companies, holding senior leadership roles in engineering and information technology programs for federal, state and local government, and international programs.
Mr. Miranda has led a variety of technical organizations from information technology services, software application development, and electrical and systems engineering, to distance learning software solutions, biometric security solutions, and product life cycle development. Some of the federal customers he has worked with include NASA, USCIS, USDA, ATF, U.S. Army, USMC, U.S. Navy, TSA, ICE, CBP, DHS, DTRA, White Sands Missile Range , National Guard, and U.S. Departments of State and Energy.
Mr. Miranda has over 30 years of innovative, entrepreneurial, collaborative and customer partnering leadership experience. He received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland and completed post-graduate work in biomedical engineering at the George Washington University.
Stephen C. Penyak
Senior Vice President, IT Modernization
Mr. Penyak is responsible for developing and executing capture strategies and managing all aspects of capture management. He has over 30 years of IT and business process outsourcing and consulting experience serving both private and public sectors, including a track record of winning key opportunities. His greatest satisfaction is contributing to the capture of a business opportunity and then successfully serving the customer in the execution of the contract. He has managed operating units serving many customers and delivering various IT and business process services.
Mr. Penyak previously served as senior vice president and COO for ACS Education Solutions, a subsidiary of ACS, Inc. He has successfully managed very large programs including a $1 billion IT and business process management program for the U.S. Department of Education. Under his leadership, he significantly improved service delivery, reducing costs and improving customer satisfaction.
Prior to ACS, Mr. Penyak served as a senior manager for Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture), primarily serving the federal government and the financial services sector. He played a key management role in winning and then delivering on the first EDGAR electronic filing and business process system contract for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Penyak holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in computer science, both from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He is PMP, ITIL v3, SAFe Agilist and SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner certified. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and is an ACT/IAC fellow, having graduated from the Partners Program in 2000.
Senior Vice President, Program Operations
Ms. Galneau is responsible for managing and overseeing key customer engagements and leading key company growth and productivity initiatives. She has more than 25 years of experience supporting multiple federal government customers, including 10 years helping Department of Defense Military Health Systems in deploying and supporting the Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) worldwide. Her experience also includes 10 years supporting civilian health customers including the NIH, CDC and HHS’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR).
Prior to joining InfoZen, Ms. Galneau was vice president of operations at Xerox for six years supporting DISA and multiple DHS customers including TSA and USCIS. She spent 20 years at SAIC, culminating her employment there as vice president of operations. Her experience ranges from working in print and television journalism to supporting and managing large, complex IT programs to overseeing a multiple-program portfolio.
Ms. Galneau earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin’s College of Communication and a master’s degree in management from Webster University. She served as a United States Marine with an honorable discharge.
Vice President, Business Operations
Kathy Reader is responsible for the leadership of key business operations. She has over 25 years of progressive experience supporting government and industry customers. She has a strong background in enterprise-wide communications, strategic planning, information management, program management, government security, safety assurance, congressional liaison and outreach, and corporate business operations.
Prior to joining InfoZen, Reader was Vice President of Strategy and Development at Parsons for nearly ten years. In this role, she was responsible for all activities and operational initiatives including leading the annual business planning process, corporate reporting, key account management and monthly/quarterly management reviews. She led the mergers and acquisition manager process for the Parsons Federal global business unit which included leading due diligence reviews and subsequent integration activities of multiple acquisitions across numerous functional departments and disciplines and establishing collaboration sites to enhance information-sharing, improve quality, and reduce costs. She also served as the on-site emergency response lead during natural and man-made incidents such as the Navy Yard active shooter incident. During her tenure at the Department of Energy (DOE), she worked as the Senior Project Manager and Senior Advisor for all safety, health, and security activities and initiatives at DOE's National Capital Region headquarters facilities.
Reader earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, has been a long-standing member of the Fairfax County Community Emergency Response Team, and has completed multiple courses related to government security.
Vice President, Strategy and Solutions
Bajinder Paul is the Vice President of Strategy & Solutions and brings more than 20 years of strategic experience leading large, complex information technology organizations in the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining InfoZen, Paul held CIO positions at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Federal Trade Commission, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. In his role at the Federal Reserve System, Paul oversaw 12 federal regional banks and a national IT infrastructure with an annual budget of $1.4 billion. Paul’s notable successes included leading the prevention of $110 billion improper payments as part of the "Do Not Pay" initiative at the Office of Management and Budget and Executive Office of the President.
He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MS degree from Johns Hopkins University in Computer Science. He has won numerous accolades for his work including: Fed 100 Award, National CIO Award, ComputerWorld and National Laureate Award.
Vice President, Program Operations
Brian is the Vice President overseeing the USCIS SPEDI Platform Engineering and Transformation contract. He brings almost 20 years of experience in Federal Civilian IT delivery and business development.
Prior to joining InfoZen, Brian was Vice President and General Manager of the Federal Civilian division at Pragmatics Inc., where he managed the direction of daily activities for the 300 person Federal Civilian division, delivering IT services to DHS, DoS, FDIC, OCC, Department of Treasury, CMS, USPTO and the FAA. Prior to Pragmatics, Brian was a Director at ACS Federal Solutions (now Xerox), where he captured and oversaw Business Process Outsourcing and Software Development programs for customers at the Department of Transportation, Department of Labor, and the Department of Treasury. He was also responsible for recommending approval to pursue opportunities for the Civilian Line of Business. Prior to that Mr. Brennan ran successful software development programs for PEC/Nortel Government Solutions at the Department of Education and United States Postal Service.
Brian is a member of the 2015 ACT-IAC Partners class, graduated from George Washington University with a Master’s degree, and attended the MIT Sloan School of Management to receive training in “Managing Technical Professionals and Organizations”.
Director, Human Resources
Suzanne Lang is responsible for leading the Human Resources department for a rapidly growing IT solutions firm. She brings more than 25 years of human resources generalist experience from both government contracting and commercial software companies.
Prior to joining InfoZen in 2016, she was the SSBU Human Resources Director at Chenega where she led the department through a period of significant onboarding events. As Human Resources Manager and FSO for the security software company, Intellitactics, Ms. Lang’s responsibilities included the U.S. and Canadian human resources operations as well as the Industrial Security program. Prior to joining Intellitactics, she worked for computer software company, Sterling Software, in HR leadership roles with the California-based Federal Systems Group and later for the Virginia-based Systems Management Group.
Ms. Lang holds HRCI’s Sr. Professional in Human Resources and California certifications as well as the SHRM-SCP certification.
