Raj Ananthanpillai
Chairman, CEO and President

Mr. Ananthanpillai is the Chairman, CEO and President of InfoZen and has been with the company since January 2004. Previously he was a Partner at The MIRA Group LLC, a Business Strategy and Financial Consulting Firm. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer of ePlus, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUS), a business process automation, asset management and financial services company, responsible for technology, marketing, analyst relations and business strategy. Prior to that, he was the president and CEO of NetBalance Corporation, a venture capital backed multi-million dollar software products and services company, which was successfully sold in February 2000.

Before founding NetBalance Mr. Ananthanpillai was the Vice President of strategy and marketing at I-NET, Inc., a $300+ multi-million dollar company, where he was responsible for developing new products, services, markets, strategic business alliances and overall strategy. He had also served as the Vice President and General Manager of one of I-NET's business units, growing a multi-million dollar IT outsourcing and managed services business offering to Fortune 100 and public sector customers. Prior to joining I-NET, Mr. Ananthanpillai spent several years at AT&T and was responsible for directing and managing the company's global messaging system managed services.

Mr. Ananthanpillai holds an M.S. in Engineering Physics, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and Executive Management degrees in International Business Management and Financial Planning. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP ®), with a US Patent on managing networked systems, and the author of two books in the area of Systems Management and Managed Services. Additionally, Mr. Ananthanpillai is a frequent speaker at executive forums and universities and is widely profiled in industry trade and business publications. He has appeared on business television programs, and mentors several emerging companies. Mr. Ananthanpillai is also a practitioner faculty at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, teaching in the University's MBA program.

 


Dwight L. Carmichael
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Carmichael is responsible for directing and overseeing all financial and accounting activities for InfoZen. He has 20 years of experience in chief financial officer positions and 11 years of Big Four public accounting experience. He has extensive experience in government contracting with midmarket companies including chief financial officer positions with American Institutes for Research, DCS Corporation and two divisions of Computer Sciences Corporation. Prior to becoming a chief financial officer, Mr. Carmichael was a senior audit manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. for five years and held controller positions with two companies.

Mr. Carmichael received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 


Manuel Miranda
Senior Vice President, Program Operations

Manuel Miranda is Senior Vice President for Program Operations. In this position, he is responsible for ongoing operations including delivery of mission critical IT services and development of solutions to a diverse set of clients in the public sector. Among the solutions developed is InfoZen's RapidAdjudicator suite which is at the forefront of the automated screening and risk assessment of millions of people to protect critical infrastructure and support national security.

Prior to joining InfoZen, Mr. Miranda spent nearly 30 years at Unisys, Identix, UNITECH and other companies providing senior leadership to Engineering and Information Technology programs for Federal Government, State & Local Government and International programs in Japan.

The wide span of technical organizations that Mr. Miranda has led includes Information Technology Services, Software Application Development, Electrical & Systems Engineering, Distant Learning Software Solutions, Biometric Security Solutions and Product Life Cycle Development. Some of the programs and customers that he has worked with include NASA, USDA, ATF, Army, USMC, Navy, TSA, CBP, DHS, DTRA, White Sands, National Guard, State Department and DOE.

Mr. Miranda has over 30 years of innovative, entrepreneurial, collaborative and customer partnering leadership experience. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and completed postgraduate work in Biomedical Engineering at George Washington University.

 


Stephen C. Penyak
Senior Vice President, Business Operations

Mr. Penyak is responsible for developing and executing Capture strategies and managing all aspects of Capture Management including Proposals. He has over 30 years of IT and Business Process outsourcing and consulting experience serving the commercial and public sectors, including a track record of winning key contract opportunities. His greatest satisfaction is contributing to the capture of a business opportunity and then successfully serving the customer in the execution of the contract. He has managed operating units serving many customers and delivering various types of IT and business process services, as well as, managed specific contracts. Mr. Penyak previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for ACS Education Solutions, a subsidiary of ACS, Inc. He has managed very large programs including successfully managing a $1B IT and Business Process Management program for the U.S. Department of Education. Under his leadership and in working with the customer they significantly improved service delivery – reducing cost and improving customer satisfaction.

Prior to ACS, Mr. Penyak served as a Senior Manager for Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture) primarily serving the Federal Government and the financial services sector. He served in a key management role in winning and then delivering on the first Edgar electronic filing and business process system contract for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mr. Penyak holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, both from Virginia Tech. He is PMP and ITIL v3 certified. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and is an ACT/IAC Fellow having graduated from the Partners Program in 2000.

 


Christopher T. David
Chief Technology Officer

As InfoZen’s CTO, Christopher provides leadership for technical architecture and enterprise systems while engaging customers to transform their current operations to meet Federal mandates through strong innovation and operations management. Christopher brings over 15 years experience in the non-profit, public, and private sectors which includes 10 years in medical education, 7 in the public sector, and 6 in the commercial world. Prior to working in the private sector, Christopher was the founding CTO for Arlington County, Virginia where he headed technical operations for the County’s 15 departments. In addition, he was the onsite CTO for the Arlington’s September 11, 2011 field operations at the Pentagon where his team earned the County a CIO Top 100 award in 2007 by pioneering the use of mobile technology for First Responders.

Christopher is a native Washingtonian and received his BA in Experimental Psychology from the George Washington University and a Master’s in Information Technology from the American University where he taught graduate school for twelve years through the Kogod School of Business.

 


Greg Mundell
Senior Vice President, Business Development

Greg Mundell is InfoZen's Senior Vice President for Business Development. Mr. Mundell is responsible for developing, overseeing and directing new business growth for InfoZen. Mr. Mundell possesses a broad network of senior-level contacts in government and industry. His experience is a balanced combination of business development, capture management, teaming, and delivery in Federal IT.

Previously, Mr. Mundell was a Vice President at Pragmatics. There he was successful in growing Pragmatics to be a top contractor at DHS on the EAGLE contract through wins at several of the DHS components, as well as improving the overall Pragmatics BD capability. Prior to Pragmatics, Mr. Mundell was a business development manager at Deloitte LLP and Titan Corporation and made several key sales at DHS and DOJ. He was instrumental in establishing Titan as a key alliance partner with Accenture for the multi-billion dollar DHS United States Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology (US-VISIT) contract. Mr. Mundell has held various information technology and management consulting positions for Commerce One, James Martin Government Consulting, and Computer Data Systems, Inc.

He is active in several professional associations including the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), and Tech America. For the Bethesda chapter of AFCEA, Mr. Mundell is the Vice President of Breakfast Programs and for IAC he is a graduate of the Partners Program. In 2008, Mr. Mundell was chosen by 1105 Government Information Group as a Rising Star Award winner.
Mr. Mundell has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.

 


Michael Stull
Senior Vice President, Capture – Strategic Programs

Mr. Stull is the Senior Vice President for Capture and Proposal Management at InfoZen. Mr. Stull has 20 years of progressively responsible IT experience supporting both commercial and federal customers. He has extensive experience in systems infrastructure and operations, software development and systems lifecycle management methods, and management consulting services.

As an InfoZen Vice President, he managed key projects and programs, providing project leadership, program control, and customer satisfaction for federal customers over the past few years including, GSA, USPTO, DHS/ USCIS, CMS, DoD customers and others. This work has included management and technical support in areas including large Web portals and Web infrastructure, complex data warehouses, organization planning and development, data center planning and operations, and mission-based services including counterterrorism and Intel support.

Mr. Stull began his career in the federal sector planning enterprise-wide new technology rollouts, then worked as a Sr. Consultant for Booz, Allen & Hamilton(BAH) supporting the information technology and management requirements of both federal and commercial customers. He subsequently founded an e-Healthcare and Health informatics-related startup organizations after leaving BAH to better connect large health providers with physicians and consumers. Prior to joining InfoZen in 2004, Mr. Stull consulted to federal and commercial organizations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia regarding strategic planning, global partnerships, and large web presence and knowledge management initiatives. He has significant IT experience in emerging markets including Russia and China, and speaks a number of foreign languages.
