InfoZen Deepens Market Expertise, Expands Reach through Board of Directors Appointments and New Advisory Board
Company appoints former Virginia Congressman Tom Davis to Board of Directors
Rockville, MD— June 23, 2009— InfoZen, Inc., a leading provider of consulting, engineering and risk assessment/management solutions, today announced the appointment of former Congressman Tom Davis and existing shareholder Norman “Norm” A. Willox, Jr. to its Board of Directors, and the formation of an Advisory Board comprised of John Chapel, Jr., Michael P. Joseph and Robert J. Thompson.
During this period of strong company growth, the counsel and support of Davis and Willox, CEO and Chairman of Critical Information Network (CiNet), will play a vital role in InfoZen’s current and future success.
“InfoZen saw a 20 percent growth in revenue last year and with the addition of such experienced individuals as advisors, we are as positive as ever about the future outlook for the Company,” said Raj Ananthanpillai, president and CEO, InfoZen. “Our boards will play a vital role in our continued success and growth.”
Tom Davis, InfoZen’s newest member on its Board of Directors, served as Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Virginia’s 11th congressional district in Northern Virginia for 14 years. During his service as board chairman, Fairfax County was ranked first financially by City and State magazine in their list of Top 50 Counties. Currently, Mr. Davis is the Director of Federal Government Affairs for Deloitte LLP, where he continues his efforts to deliver effective, common sense solutions to government.
In his current role as CEO of CiNet, Willox oversees the company’s strategic growth and development. He has 25 years of managing information businesses in risk markets, most recently as the CEO of LexisNexis Special Services Inc. (LNSSI). In this position he was responsible for leading the government business unit within LNSSI, including all sales, product development and policy application for the management of government information solutions. Prior to leading LNSSI, Willox served as Chief Officer for Privacy, Industry and Regulatory Affairs at LexisNexis, where he oversaw all domestic and international privacy and regulatory activities in addition to the company’s global industry relations. Willox is a trusted resource to national and international law enforcement organizations on topics like fraud, identification authentication and privacy.
